Type of Event: This is a Parade event - we will be the honor guard for Napoleon and the Princesses.  
Who is invited: Basically Napoleonic French Troops - Infantry, Camp Followers, and Dismounted Calvary  
Cavalry Friendly? Dismounted Calvary only  
Family Friendly? Yes - Yes- Yes - children, spouses, camp followers are very welcome  
Description:

Check out the French Festival Schedule - something for everyone - from a pancake breakfast to arts and crafts and french bread, fireworks for Saturday night. On Sunday there's even an antique car show.

Schedule:

Friday: Meet and Greet at the Village Green

Saturday:
9:00 am - Assemble at Chamber of Commerce to escort Napoleon, the Queen and her Princesses to the dias.
10:00 am - Form Garde D'honneur during speeches and while National anthems are performed.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm - on your own to enjoy the Festival
1:00 pm - Assemble at High School, form Parade formation
1:30 pm - Parade starts
2:30 pm - 9:30 pm - Band competitions and Craft booths
9:30 pm - Fireworks

Sunday:

9:00 am - 2:30 pm - Enjoy the festival and antique car show

 
Food: There is a kitchen in the lighthouse - available for our use. In addition there are a multitude of inexpensive restaurants and lots of food stalls.  
Accomodations: Bring your tent and camp on the Village Green, or contact one of the local hotels or the Tibbetts Point Lighthouse Hostel.

Straw, Water, Wood: Not Applicable  
Weapons, Powder, etc: Bring muskets, Dress Uniform , Sabres . If we get to fire our muskets, it will only be a "feu de joie", so 6-12 cartridges will be plenty!  
Entertainment: It's a festival! There's tons going on.  
Special Preparations: Come prepared to be on parade - to be photographed, to be one of the highlights of the festival  
Closest airport: Cape Vincent is one hour from Kingston, Ontario, 3 hours from Montreal, 4 hrs from Buffalo, NY, and 3.5 hrs from Albany, NY
Fees or stipends: Only cost is for accomodations at the Lighthouse and any food that you buy.
